I began taking SAM-e almost 30 days ago and it’s amazing! I’ve been suffering from panic attacks coupled with mood swings for quite a while now so I started keeping a journal to track my state of mind and I realized that I was having a lot more bad days than good days. Sometimes the tiniest things would upset me,  once something negative happened (no matter how insignificant) it totally ruined my mood for the rest of the day.  Currently, I’m taking 400 mg of SAM-e everyday.  I felt the SAM-e take effect almost immediately, and so far I haven’t experienced any side effects at all.  I’ve been taking my SAM-e for just about a month, and I have a really level, calm sense of well being.  This is longest I’ve gone in a long time without having a panic attack, and it’s great.  In the past I’ve taken prescription medication for my depression and anxiety (Paxil), but I’m finding SAM-e to be just as effective without the side effects.  If you have problems with panic attacks or depression, I can’t recommend SAM-e enough.
